A Dazzling Stage Spectacle

The spectacular theatrical performance, “Changan Banquet”, is staged in a building formerly known as the Xi’An Art Conservatory. Located in close proximity to the ancient city walls of Xi’An, on the East side, the East gate was also known as “Changle Gate”, which gives rise to the name of the theatre.

The East Gate is one of the four main gateways to the ancient city. First built during the early Ming period, it was later expanded during the Tang dynasty. By using the term “Changle”, which denotes everlasting happiness and eternal prosperity, it reflected the heartfelt wishes of the common people.

The theatre is a RMB50million investment of the Ever Rich Group (HKG), and managed by the Group’s subsidiary, Beijing Sky Vast Media Co. Ltd. The area of the theatre totals 3000sqm. It is intricately designed with exquisite detailing, serving as the ideal venue of important occasions.

Together with the Terracotta Warriors, Bell & Drum Tower, and Stele Forest, Changle Theatre will soon join these prominent cultural symbols and come to represent a new iconic spot in Xi’An with the premiere of “Changan Banquet”.
